Okay so it took me for ever to figure out how to do this. If you want an email telling you that you have a reply to a thread you need to do this
1st go to your profile
2nd go to the bookmarks part
3rd click the "Click here to manage your bookmarks preferences" thing
4th use the drop down thing and change it to either PM or Email
5th Book mark threads you want to be notified on.
